Graft is a service design project, a joint effort between myself and two other collaborators. We want to help foster parents in their journey of caring for their foster child. An activity kit and community site are proposed for this purpose.
Foster parents engage their foster child with the activity kit to bond, build trust, and encourage open communication. Our targeted foster child age range is 7-12 years, the formative years of a child. Our activity kit illustrates research-backed activities that are suited for differing interests at different stages of integration into the family.
The site ties the whole service together. Foster parents can find like-minded individuals to share experiences, give tips, provide feedback, and ask for advice on foster parenting.​​
